2.1 Installation
Download the SMART CATALOG application using AppStore on an iPad/iPhone and install it.

1 Start AppStore on your iPad/iPhone.

"Apple ID" is necessary to access AppStore. For using it, contact your system administrator.
2 Using the search field of AppStore, enter "visuamall" or "visuamall Smart Catalog" and search applications.

If nothing is displayed in the search results, please check the country(region) in App Store. We don't release Smart Catalog for some countries. If you want us to release it for a country in which we have not released it, please contact to our support center.
3 Press the icon.

The application page is displayed.
4 Select the [GET] button, download the application, and install it.

Download the SMART CATALOG application using a web browser on an iPad/iPhone and install it.
1 Start the browser on your iPad/iPhone.
2 Access the site for downloading the application.
The login screen of the site for downloading the application is displayed.
Memo
When the browser's functions are restricted and the browser does not automatically start up from a link on a user account email, start up the browser independently and directly enter the address of the site for downloading the application to access it.
3 From the language menu, select “English”.

4 Enter the user ID and password and select [login].

The [Download viewer App] screen is displayed.
5 Select the Download icon.

A confirmation appears.
6 Select [Install].

Installation starts and the application icon is created on the Home screen.
2.2 Starting and Logging in
1 On the Home screen of iPad/iPhone, select the (Smart Catalog) application icon to start the application.
A screen is displayed to ask you if
you agree with using device information.
2 Select [Agree].
3 Select a region, enter the account path, user ID, and password and then select [OK].

[My Library] is displayed.
Memo
・The screen shown in step 2 is displayed only when the application is started for the first time.
・Enter the account path on the AppStoreEdition application only when logging in for the first time.
・If you fail to enter the user ID or password five times in a row, the account will be locked and login will be disabled. The lock is automatically canceled one hour later.
・Smart Catalog has been adopted activation lock by the combination of User ID and Device ID for security. Please prepare the same number of devices as user accounts if multiple users use this application. Furthermore, please prepare the same number of user accounts as devices if you would like to use multiple devices by same OS.
・For countermeasures against failed login, see "7. FAQ."
・If changing the password is required, change the password. For details, see "6.1 Changing the Password."
・To log in again after logging out, select the (User Information) button, enter the user ID and password, and select the [OK] button.
Hint
・If the region is not displayed
If it is iOS 10 or later and connecting through a proxy, it sometimes does not connect.

2.3 Logging out
1 Select the (Settings) button on the top left of the screen and select [Account].
2 Select [Logout].

A confirmation appears.
3 Select [OK].

You can log out from SMART CATALOG.
2.4 Updating
On the inHouse edition, a confirmation screen appears at the startup of the application if the application is updated so that you can update it. On the AppStore edition, update the application from the "Updates" screen of AppStore.

When using iOS11 or later, due to the specification change of iOS, update of the application starts by going back to the home screen of the device after clicking "OK" button.

Memo
- Even if you cancel the process, the confirmation appears once a day until installation is completed.
- Once you update the application, you will not be able to rollback the update.
- Any downloaded contents, enrolled memos, markings, or bookmarks will not get deleted or erased even though you update the application. However, all these things will get deleted if you delete older version of the application and download the newer version of it.
