5.1 Sorting Contents
Specified items in the list can be sorted in ascending or descending order. Sort settings are saved separately for "New Content," "My Library," and "Favorites," and are maintained even if the application is rebooted or the screens are moved.
1 From the operation menu, select the [Sort] button.
2 Select the "sort-by" item and “Ascending” or “Descending”, and “On” or “Off” for Prioritizing New.

Contents are sorted based on the item specified for sorting.
Memo
Different condition for sorting order is available for each page of [New contents], [My Library], and [Favorite]. The specified condition is saved. The sorting order will be effective even after shutting down and rebooting the application. The sorting order is effective for displaying contents by [Genre] or [Group]. User-specified condition is available for "My Library."
The configuration is available on "Edit" menu, and select "User Preference." The contents will be displayed in a list, and select contents in the order of user's preference. After selecting items, then tap the "Save" button.
Memo
If “Prioritizing New” is “On” at “My Library” or “Favorite”, following order is applied to display content.
w/ Update Badge > w/ New Badge > w/o New Badge
The order of contents under each status above follows the setting you’ve set for “sort-by” item and “Ascending” or “Descending”.
Memo
When the [Permit Review] is activated, the preferences of [Download], [Views] and [Review] are added.
5.2 Creating Favorites
▼Registering favorite folders
Favorite folders can be created for each user by registering downloaded contents. (Up to 10 contents)
< Registering from My Library >
1 From the operation menu of [My Library], select the [Favorite] button.
2 Select [New], enter the name of the favorite folder, and select the [Close] button.

1 From the operation menu, select the (Output) button.
2 Select the [Favorite] button.
3 Select [New], enter the name of the favorite folder, and select the [Close] button.

< Registering from My Library >
1 From the operation menu of [My Library], select the (Edit) button.
2 From the [Edit] menu, select [Edit Favorite].

3 Select the content you want to add to Favorite and select the [Add] button in the upper-left corner of the screen.

4 Select the name of the favorite folder to register the content to.
The content is registered to Favorite.

1 Display the content to be registered to Favorite.
2 From the operation menu, select the (Output) button.
3 Select the [Favorite] button and then select the name of the favorite folder to register the content to.

A message is displayed and the content is registered to Favorite.
Select the name of the favorite folder that the content has been registered to again. A message is displayed and the content is deleted from Favorite. Even after the content is deleted from Favorite, it is not deleted from My Library.
▼Viewing a favorite
1 From the operation menu, select the [Favorite] button.
2 From the favorite list, select a favorite folder already created.

Only contents registered to favorite are displayed.
Memo
・Select the (Lock) button on the upper-left corner of the screen to activate password lock in order to prohibit transition to other screens.
・The password for unlocking the favorite lock is as same as the password for login. Only this password cannot be changed.
・Contents registered to Favorite can also be displayed by [Group] or [Genre].
▼Deleting a favorite folder
1 From the operation menu, select the [Favorite] button.
2 Select [Edit].

3 Select the [-] button of the favorite folder to be deleted. Then, select the [Delete] button displayed.
A confirmation appears. Select [OK].
Memo
You can also delete a favorite folder from the operation menu of content.
▼Deleting content registered to Favorite
1 From the operation menu, select the [Favorite] button.
2 From the Favorite list, select the name of the content.
3 Touch and hold (2 to 3 seconds) the content you want to delete.

A confirmation appears.
4 Select [OK].

The content is deleted from Favorite. Even after the content is deleted from Favorite, it is not deleted from My Library.
Memo
You can also delete a favorite folder from the operation menu of content.
5.3 Setting Bookmarks
1 Touch anywhere on the viewer screen which is displaying the page you want to set a bookmark for.
The operation menu is displayed.
2 While the page you want to set a bookmark for is open, select the (Add Bookmark) button.
After the bookmark is set, the (Add Bookmark) button turns red.
Note: You can select a label when setting a bookmark if you have registered a bookmark label in advance. You can manage bookmarks by labels using this function. The procedure to register labels is the same as that for registering memo labels described in 5.4 Attaching Memos.
To cancel the setting, press the (Add Bookmark) button again.

3 To display the bookmark, select the (Bookmark List) button on the operation menu.
Thumbnail and page number for the set bookmark are displayed.
5.4 Attaching Memos
You can register memos to pages of content.
▼Registering labels
Register a label for memo. If you select a label when attaching a memo, you can manage memos sorted by labels.
1 Display [My Library].
2 From the side menu, select the [My Data] button.
3 Select the [Memo] button.

4 From the operation menu, select the (Edit) button and then select the [New] button.
5 Enter the label name within 10 characters and then select the [Close] button.

Touch a different area on the screen to finish the registration of the label.
Memo
・To change the name of a label already registered, select the (Edit) button and touch the name of the corresponding registered label.
・To delete a label already registered, select the (Edit) button. The [-] button is displayed. Select the button and then select the [Delete] button.
▼Attaching memos
1 Touch and hold (2 to 3 seconds) anywhere on the viewer screen where the content is displayed.
The Memo window is displayed.
2 Select the [Label list] button and then select a label already registered.
You can also attach a memo without selecting any label.
3 Enter memo and select the [Save] button.

The (Memo) icon is displayed at the position where the memo was registered.
Memo
・There is no upper limit for the number of registering memos in a content or all contents.
・To cancel the registration of memo on iPad, touch a different area without saving. On iPhone, select the [Close] button.
・To modify the data registered to a memo, touch the (Memo) icon to open the memo and select the [Edit] button.
・To delete a registered memo, touch the (Memo) icon to open the memo and select the [Edit] button. Select the [Delete] button to delete the memo.
▼Moving or copying memos
You can move or copy created memos within the same page or to another page.
1 Open the memo you want to move or copy.
2 Select the [Cut] or [Copy] button in Memo.

3 Display the destination page to move or copy the memo.
4 On the page, touch and hold the position where you want to move or copy the memo.
The Memo menu is displayed.
5 From the Memo menu, select [Paste].

The memo is moved or copied.
▼Deleting recorded memo information
1 While the [Cut] or [Copy] button is selected in Memo, touch and hold a position on the page.
The Memo menu is displayed.
2 From the Memo menu, select [Clear].

Recorded information about moving or copying the memo is deleted. The memo itself is not deleted.
5.5 Copying Memos to a Different Content
You can copy all memos set in a particular content to a different content. Since memos are copied maintaining their original position, memos set for non-existing pages are deleted.
1 Display [My Library].
2 From the Operation menu, select the (Edit) button.
3 From the Edit menu, select [Copy Memo].

The [Copy Memo] screen is displayed.
4 Confirm that the [From] button is selected and then select the content to be copied.

5 Select the [To] button and then select the copy destination.
6 Select the copy destination content.

7 Select the [Copy] button to copy the memos.

The content memos are copied to the selected content.
8 Select the [Close] button.

5.6 Searching Contents
▼Searching corresponding contents
Enter words to search and search contents that meet specific conditions.
1 From the operation menu, select the (Search) button.
2 Enter words and select a search condition.
If you want to search [body] from contents not downloaded (New Contents), that will be possible by setting [Online] as [ON]. In other cases, you can just search with setting [Online] as [OFF]. Then, contents not downloaded will be the searching target even [Offline].

3 Select [Search].
Contents that met the search conditions are displayed in the [Search result] screen.
Memo
- To search by "Tag," the content have to be tagged on the content management system in advance. The search by "Tag" is performed with an exact match condition, and only one tag can be used for a single search.
- If you select "Search Options", then "Security Alert", "Send by E-mail", "Important Content", "Genre", "Group", and "Case-sensitive" are available for searching condition. Moreover, [Search Options] can be set only when [Online] is [OFF]. The search by "Genre" or "Group" is performed with an exact match condition, and only one genre or group can be used for a single search.
- The genres hit by >> [Search Options] >> [Genre] search are the genres set as downloaded contents.
- The targeted texts searched by [Item] >> [Body] are the text strings which have been already included in the uploaded original file. Texts added by the authoring tool, or texts written in "Description" are excluded.

You can search pages that meet specific conditions among the contents displayed.
1 Touch anywhere on the viewer screen.
2 From the operation menu, select the (Search) button.
3 Enter words in the Search box and perform a search.

Page numbers that met the conditions are displayed.
4 Select a page number to display the corresponding page.

Select the [Genre] or [Group] button on the side menu and search contents to display.
1 From the side menu, select an intended function button.

2 Select the content to display from the search results.
Contents sorted by [Genre] or [Group] can be searched by hierarchy.

Icons for the permission to send e-mail ( ), permission to print out (
), and warning/password (
) are displayed on the right side of each content.

On "My Library" screen, If you sort by genre, the number of contents with "Update Badge" is displayed on top of the folder icon()
If you are at "New Contents" screen, the number of contents with "New Badge" is displayed()
Memo
To search by [Genre] or [Group] name, genre and group information needs to be registered to content on the content management system in advance.

1 From the side menu, select the [My data] button.
2 Select the [Bookmark] button, [Memo] button, or [History] button.



The set bookmarks, memos, or viewing history are displayed.
Memo
<Bookmark / Memo>
Press the (Switch Display) button on the upper-right area of the screen to switch between displaying each content and displaying contents in a list.
Press the (Search) button on the upper-right corner of the screen. You can search registered bookmarks and memos based on one of the following conditions.
Touch and hold a registered memo on the Memo List screen. You can edit the memo and/or change the label
To delete a bookmark or memo, select [-] and select the [Delete] button displayed.
<History>
You can select the operations to be saved in history. From the operation menu of My Library, select the (Settings) button and then select the [History Settings] button.
Up to 50 histories are displayed.
To delete history, select [-] and select the [Delete] button displayed.
Select the [Delete All] button to delete all histories.
5.7 Viewing the History of Base PDFs of Content
When a base PDF of content has been replaced, you can check the former PDF. New and former PDFs are displayed side-by-side for the comparison.
1 From the operation menu, select the (History) button.
The former PDF is displayed in the history mode.
2 Select the [Comparison] button on the upper-right corner of the screen.

To go back to the latest content screen, select the "Close" on the upper-left corner of the screen. The former PDF is displayed on the left side and the latest PDF is displayed on the right side for comparison.

To go back to the former PDF screen, select the [Back] button on the upper-left corner of the screen.
Memo
Even when the screen is displayed vertically, the history and the latest content can be displayed for comparison. You can enlarge images by pinching out on the viewer.
Hint
If the direction of the PDF file is changed when updating the PDF file of the content, displaying the history is not available.
5.8 Printing 
You can print out content using an Apple AirPrint-enabled printer via wireless connection. Printing is an optional fee-based function.
1 From the operation menu, select the (Output) button.
2 Select [Print].

3 Select [OK].

4 From the [Printer Options] menu, select a printer.

A process to detect printers starts and available printers are displayed.
Memo
If no available printer is detected, "No AirPrint Printers Found" is displayed.
5 From the [Printer Options] menu, specify the print range.

You can specify all pages or a certain range for printing.
6 From the [Printer Options] menu, specify the number of copies to be printed using the [+] and [-] buttons.

7 Select [Print].

Printing starts.
8 Select [OK].

Memo
The printable objects are only the PDF files which are used for the base of the contents. Buttons or images which are set by using authoring tool cannot be printed.
5.9 Sending Content by Email 
Using iPad/iPhone's function to send emails, you can send the base PDF of the content (PDF format) by attaching it to an email.
1 From the operation menu, select the (Output) button.
2 Select [Send by E-mail].

Memo
In the case of content which the sending emails is not allowed, the message "This content is not allowed to send by e-mail." is displayed.
3 Select [OK].

The mailer is displayed with the PDF attachment.
The default mail software configured in the OS will be started.
4 Enter an address for "To" and select the [Send] button.

・The size of PDF is the size that is adjusted as contents to distribute after uploaded to the content management system.
5.10.Using Content Sharing Function
Sending contents to the users who have no application or account is available in the web browser by using content sharing function.
*The contract of the web browser is required for using the content sharing function.
1 Select the [Output] button in the operation menu.
2 Select the [Content Share] button.

Content sharing screen will be displayed.
Memo
If the content is not allowed to share, the message “This content is not allowed to send by e-mail.” will be displayed.
3 Specify [The term of validity for the URL], then select the [Share URL] button.

The URL information will be displayed.
4 Select the [Send by E-mail] button to open the mailer on the device.

5 Enter the email address and press the [Send] button.

Memo
Unavailable to use offline, please use this function online.
If you select the [Copy] button in the [URL information], it will be saved in the clipboard and you can send it with any message tool.
5.11 Creating and Playing Back a User Playlist
You can register and display specific pages in content in any order. You can also play them as a slide show.
▼Creating a user playlist
1 From the operation menu, select the (Output) button.
2 Select the [User Playlist] button.

3 Select the [New] button.

4 Select the [Edit Title] button and enter a title.

5 Select from the thumbnails displayed in the lower area of the screen in the order of the pages to register.
The registered pages are displayed in the upper area of the screen in the specified order.

To insert a page between pages, select a registered page displayed in the upper area of the screen. While is displayed, select a thumbnail displayed in the lower area of the screen. The page will be added to the part where
is positioned.

To delete a registered page, press the [Delete] button and select the registered page to be deleted displayed in the upper area of the screen. When the page has been deleted, select the [Done] button.
6 Select the [Save] button on the lower-right corner of the screen.
The created user playlist is saved.
▼ Playing pages in a user playlist
Pages in a user playlist can be flipped manually or viewed in slideshow mode (i.e.,automatically).
Memo
When a user playlist is played, memo, marking, and bookmark function cannot be used.
< Setting a method to flip pages (Manual/Slide show) >
1 From the operation menu of My Library, select the (Settings) button.
2 Select the [Viewer Settings] button.
3 In the item for slide show setting, set the method to flip pages.
Manual: Select "OFF."
Slide show: Select from among "1 sec," "3 sec," and "5 sec." Pages are automatically flipped in the unit of the set time.
(Default is every 3 sec.)

Memo
The method and time to flip pages set in this procedure will be applied to all user playlists.
5.12 Opening Contents on Tab Display
Using tab display, you can view multiple contents at the same time while switching tabs. You can also start viewing a tab set after you finish viewing it if you have saved the tab set. (To use tab display, select [Settings] and [Viewer Settings] and set [Active Tab] to ON.)
1 From the Operation menu, select (Tab Tables) button to open the tab list.
2 Select the [Add] button and select the contents to open at the same time. Up to three kind of contents and ten tabs can be opened at the same time.

3 Enter the title in the lower part of the screen and select the [Save] button to save the tab set.

4 Content saved to a tab list is displayed, and the content list is shown when "Details" is selected. The first content to display in the tab set is that in blue text.

Memo
- You can add a tab by selecting the button in contents viewer.
- Select the [Tab Settings] button in contents viewer to save or overwrite a tab set. If you close contents without overwriting, the edited data will not be saved.
5.13 Reviewing content
Contents can be reviewed with stars and comments by viewers who have permission to view the contents. Viewers are also able to see the total number of downloading / or viewing of a content.
1 Tap the thumbnail of a content to review, then the content detail screen is opened. When the content viewer appears instead of the detail screen, open “Viewer Setting” in the setting and toggle on “Display detail content” (Only downloaded contents can be reviewed).

2 Tap [Review] to open the review screen.

3 Type a comment after selecting the input area. Optionally, rate the content by selecting one of the five stars.
4 Tap [Submit] to submit the review to the server (When the device is offline, the application automatically saves the evaluation and submit it next time the device is online).

Memo
・Only at the first viewing, the review screen appears when closing the content viewer.
・Rating is only available once for each content. (Re-evaluation is available by removing a content from device and re-downloading it on “New contents” tab.)
・10 latest comments are displayed at comment list.
・Comment can be resubmitted any number of time.
・The total number of downloads and views for contents are updated on the next day.
5.14 Copying Marking Data
When updating to the new PDF file of the content, you can copy marking data saved on the previous content to the latest content. There are methods of copying marking data, all pages at one time and selected pages one by one. If the page number of the new PDF is different from the previous PDF, we recommend you to copy one by one.
▼Copying all marking data at one time
1 Select the (History) button from the operation menu.
The previous content is displayed in the history mode.
2 Select the [Copy All Marking] button on the upper-right corner on the screen.
3 All marking data on the previous content will be copied in the same pages on the latest content.

1 Select the (History) button from the operation menu.
The previous content is displayed in the history mode.
2 Select the [Comparison] button on the upper-right corner on the screen.
3 Open the page with marking data in “History” (the previous content) on the left side while opening the page to copy marking data in “Latest” (the latest content) on the right side on the screen.

4 Select the [Copy Marking] button on the upper-right corner on the screen.

5 Marking will be copied.
